A glimpse from Buenos Aires:

So, I’m sitting in a taxi with two other teachers who have just come from the show. (We are on our way to a dinner for all the teachers and organizers, hosted by Estela, one of the three gals who are Buenos Aires Quilting.)  One is Pilar Donosa, a huge name in Chile. The other is Marcia, who has her own TV show in Uruguay. I’d been chatting with them while we waited for the cab, but none of us introduced ourselves.

So, they’re sitting in the back seat of the cab together and the Uruguayan gal says to the Chilean: “So, who’s this big American teacher who’s here that everyone is talking about?” And I turned quietly from the front seat (did a good job of not gloating) and with a little smile, just said “That’s me.”

That was fun!
